The meet originally planned for Thornton, NH in March 2008 has replaced with a meet in Meredith, NH  on March 15 near Lake Winnipesaukee that will
benefit the NH Make-A-Wish Foundation.

See Below

Model T Ford Snowmobile Meet

to benefit the NH Make-A-Wish Foundation
Saturday - March 15 2008
Moulton Farm in Meredith, NH

Please join us March 15th 2008 for a full day of riding and camaraderie.
We will be giving rides to benefit NH Make-A-Wish Foundation. http://www.newhampshire.wish.org/   The goal is to raise $5,000 at this event between 10:00AM and 4:00PM so bring your Snowmobile.

Moulton Farm on Route 25 in Meredith NH will host the Model T Ford Snowmobile Club on its 180 Acre farm. Groomed trails will wind through the fields, pastures and nearby woods providing spectacular views of the country side. Ample parking for transports and spectators will be available. The heated Farm Stand will be available for warming and refreshments.

Our hope is to have as many machines show up and participate as possible. Friday arrivals are very welcome. The farm is very secure and the owner lives on premises. Snow conditions in the fields are perfect at the time of this writing.

Anyone wishing to stay and ride Sunday is more than welcome. Depending on future snow & cold, Lake Winnipesaukee could be a great playground as it was last March. On two different days last year I traveled over 100 miles on tremendous ice on the lake..

Anyone coming from any distance can make reservations at a number of nearby Hotels & Motels in the area. I will be more than glad to email the information for accommodations to you upon request.

Saturday evening I would like to host everyone participating and their guests to dinner at my home here in Moultonborough. Happy hour will begin at 5:00pm and dinner will follow.  Potluck contributions would be welcome.

If you thought 2005 & 2006 Ossippe NH was fun- This will be great. Lots of area for riding, no major roads to cross, groomed trails by the local snowmobile clubs, restaurants, shops, hotels, services all nearby and we will raise money for charity.

What could be better?

Midwest Regional Meet - Jan 19 & 20, 2008

As you are likely aware, each winter the Snowmobile Club hosts a “rally” in New England. But for many of us in the upper Midwest, it is difficult to attend those festivities.
The Snowmobile Club understands these travel and logistical challenges and encourages rallies in other parts of the country.

So to help bring together Model T Ford Snowmobile collectors and other interested persons from across the Upper Midwest—or wherever—the Cokato Historical Society is considering hosting a rally for Model T Snowmobiles on January 19 & 20, 2008, in Cokato, Minnesota.

We are attempting to gauge the appeal in having such a get-together. If you are interested in attending this proposed event, please contact Mike Worcester. If enough interest is shown, we will send out a packet of materials in early November detailing our plans.

If you have any questions/comments/suggestions, or would like more information, please contact us at 320-286-2427, e-mail: cokatomuseum@cmgate.com. Feel free to share this information with other parties that you think might be willing to participate. Thank you for your time and consideration; look forward to hearing from you soon. Sincerely, Mike Worcester Museum Director
